Are you interested in sustainability and global collaboration? Are you a professional and/or student in the
field of sustainability, social work, creativity and/or education? Are you interested in learning along the past, through the present into the future?
Would you like to spent two weeks in Tanzania and Germany exploring solutions for a more sustainable future with a special focus on sustainable cities?

We kindly invite you to join us for a collective learning journey exploring solutions to the cross-cutting issues surrounding social justice, education for sustainability, the sustainable development goals and community organizing taking place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Hamburg, Germany.

Programme
By bringing together eight participants from different organization from each city, we leverage potential for long term collaborations in addressing local issues.
Each part contains workshops, expert meetings and cultural events, as well as excursions.
We collaborate with various NGO and are much looking to extend our network.

Who?
Professionals and learners from organizations in the field of education, social work and sustainability from Dar es Salaam/Tanzania and Hamburg/Germany with a willingness to learn and work alongside fellows from mixed backgrounds.
Working language is English, though translations will be available.

Application, dates and costs
From Hamburg: 1400 Euro if paid by individual, 1.800 Euro if paid by organizations, from Dar es Salaam: 250 Euro. The fee covers the program costs, travel (up to 950 Euro per person) and CO2-emission compensation, food and lodging in shared rooms.

We have limited spaces, so please be in contact as soon as possible.
Deadline for registration: October 8th, 2023.

The two parts are connected and application is only possible for both parts.
